What We Do

Our Services

Everything Dixon Family Berry Farm can do for you in Clinton and the surrounding ME area.

U-Pick Berry Experience

Spend a morning or afternoon picking your own fresh berries straight from the field. It's a beloved tradition for families, couples, and berry lovers of all ages. No experience necessary — just bring a bucket and your appetite.

Our U-Pick fields open seasonally, starting with strawberries in June and rolling through blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries into late summer. We walk you through the rows, show you what's ripe, and let you pick at your own pace. It's a fantastic outing for kids, a peaceful retreat for adults, and an economical way to stock up on fresh fruit. Pricing is by the pound, and we provide containers. Check our seasonal calendar for opening dates and available varieties each week.

Farm Stand Sales

Not able to pick your own? No problem. Our on-site farm stand offers pre-picked, ready-to-go berries by the pint, quart, or flat throughout the harvest season. Fresh-picked daily and gone fast — so come early.

The Dixon Farm Stand is stocked with the freshest berries available each day, hand-picked by our family early in the morning. We offer strawberries, wild-cultivated blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries depending on the season. We also carry our homemade jams, jellies, and frozen berry packs for year-round enjoyment. The stand is a quick stop on your way through Clinton and a favorite among locals who return week after week. Cash and card accepted.

Homemade Jams & Preserves

Our small-batch jams and preserves are made right here on the farm using our own berries and time-honored family recipes. They make perfect gifts, pantry staples, and a little taste of summer all year long.

Every jar of Dixon Family Berry Farm jam starts with berries picked at peak ripeness from our own fields. We make strawberry jam, wild blueberry preserves, raspberry jelly, and mixed berry spreads in small batches to ensure quality and freshness. We use minimal added ingredients — no artificial preservatives or fillers. Our jams are available at the farm stand, at select local farmers markets, and by special order for weddings, events, and holiday gift sets. Contact us about custom labeling for bulk orders.

Wholesale & Restaurant Supply

We partner with local restaurants, cafés, and food businesses throughout central Maine to supply fresh and frozen berries during the growing season. If you value local sourcing, we'd love to be your berry farm.

Dixon Family Berry Farm offers flexible wholesale arrangements for food service businesses, catering companies, and specialty food producers. We can supply fresh-picked berries in bulk flats, or frozen berries by the case for year-round use. We work closely with chefs and buyers to coordinate pickup or local delivery schedules that fit your kitchen's rhythm. Our berries are grown without synthetic pesticides and are traceable right back to the row they came from. Reach out early in the season to secure your supply — we sell out quickly.

Farmers Market Presence

Find Dixon Family Berry Farm at local farmers markets throughout the region during the summer and fall season. It's the easiest way to pick up fresh berries, jams, and frozen goods without making a trip to the farm.

We set up regularly at farmers markets in the Clinton, Waterville, and Skowhegan area throughout the growing season. Our market booth carries everything available at the farm stand — fresh berries by the pint and flat, our full lineup of jams and preserves, and seasonal frozen berry packs. Markets are a great way to meet us in person, ask questions about the farm, and find out what's ripe that week. Follow us on Facebook for our current market schedule and any last-minute updates.

Group & School Farm Visits

Bring your class, scout troop, or community group out to the farm for a hands-on agricultural experience. We love introducing young people to where their food comes from and how a small family farm operates.

Dixon Family Berry Farm welcomes scheduled group visits for schools, summer camps, homeschool co-ops, and community organizations. During a farm visit, guests get a guided walk through the fields, a lesson on how berries grow and how we care for the land, and a U-Pick opportunity to take berries home. We tailor the experience to your group's age and size. Group visits are available by appointment during the harvest season. Please contact us several weeks in advance to reserve a date — spots fill up fast with local schools.
